One of the things I most appreciated about Shelby is how willing he was to provide candid advice and not sugarcoat things. I'd send Shelby a list of a few homes that had caught my eye, and he would not hesitate to nix every single one of them for whatever reason, such as the house being overpriced, a cheap flip, or not in a great neighborhood. He knows the local areas much more than I do, so that advice was much appreciated and ended up guiding me to the perfect house on a wonderful block I never would have found otherwise.
